My to Kill A Mockingbird Experience

If I were to transfer the story of Scout and her adventures I would have to change the time and place. I would also have to change the things they do, like sneaking around Boo Radley's house. For me it would be more like sneaking into the woods with my friends to explore a new hiding place. The curiosity that the children have would stay the same. I think that I would have been friends with all of these children as a child because we have many of the same interests.

I think this quote is saying what you have to do in order to live a proper life through the eyes of Mary Oliver. Like she thinks you have to pay attention to everything around you and to every detail of your life. She also thinks that you have to be astonished. Tell about your life and make everyone listen to your story that way you are never forgotten, even after you have died.
